Hi Guys! I’m super excited to announce that the new home of Miss Gunner is almost ready! Building it has taken a little while, but I’m just finalising the shop and by the time my next blog goes live, you should be viewing on the new www.missgunner.com! Spring is well and truly here (well at least in Sydney!) so I’m super excited about wearing some skimpier outfits and hitting the beach, and this week I absolutely loved spending some time among the Surry Hills cafes in my matching skirt and top from Imonni! Imonni is a label based in Melbourne, Australia,…

I was born in Thailand and raised in Bangkok until the age of 10, when I was sent to boarding school in Sydney. And although I’ve spent the majority of my years in Australia, my life really is a blend of the East and West. My mother is a Catholic, my father is Buddhist. I eat Thai and Western food in equal measure, and I speak mostly Thai at home and English elsewhere. My Thai friends think I’m an Aussie, and my Aussie friends consider me Thai – and rather than be confused by all of this…… [Click here to…

With Sydney’s summer just around the corner, you need to start prepping your wardrobes with maxi dresses. I’ve just arrived home from Singapore and here I’m exploring Gardens by the Bay in my SWF mustard maxi dress. It shoots beautifully, it’s perfect for twirling and it really pops out loudly even against busy backdrops. I wore the dress here with white sneakers – don’t be scared to wear sneakers with your maxi dress, especially when you have to do a lot of walking to do. This way you can get the comfort of casual with the high impact of a maxi. This came…

I was born in the city of Bangkok, so maybe that makes me a touch biased; however, there are sooooo many reasons that make this place a shopper’s dream. I class it as one of the most exciting and unique shopping experiences in the world, because of the range of shopping approaches that it caters for. Let me explain. First, you can shop for handmade goods on the street or markets with prices starting at less than a dollar, or you can take it to the extreme and hit up one of Bangkok’s many high end boutiques – Chanel, Hermes,…

Let’s talk about two things I love: bomber jackets, and the colour khaki! I love affordable streetwear, especially when it can be dressed up and down. I mean, you’re never going to wear a bomber jacket to a formal dinner, but at the same time there is a subtle but important difference between the effect you get from setting a bomber atop tailored jeans with heels, versus baggy jeans and joggers – and this, my friend, is the equivalent of formal and informal street wear! The first could suit a posh girls brunch in a swanky suburb, the second a coffee…

I have some family in Krabi, Thailand, which is on the Andaman Sea and not far from Phuket. Flying solo from Sydney (yes, I was missing my photographer/Instahubby!), I picked up my nanny from Bangkok and flew down at the beginning of July, which is technically the wet season but this usually just consists of some moderate showers in the afternoon – usually a nice change from the mid-30 degree Celsius (95 Fahrenheit) days. Previously when visiting I’ve stayed at Ao Nang, which is a small town on the beach and not far from Railay Beach, which is quite famous…

Winter is well and truly here. It has been super cold here in Sydney so this means it’s time to rug up in cosy knits and cardigans. I’m such a huge fan of whites. A lot of people shy away from wearing whites in winter but I’m here to tell you that this trend is here to stay! As long as you play with different textures and fabrics you are good to go. Here I am wearing Imonni ‘the split me side ways knit in white’  and a beautiful ‘comatosed cardigan’. Click here to find a stockist near you x xxxxx Lots…

I was born in Bangkok, and, as much as love my hometown, spending a few days among the crowds, traffic and trains always leaves me longing for some peace and quiet. At the same time, I’m not one to seek out a secluded beach, miles from anywhere – I need a serene base, but I also need a bustling scene close by to get my street food fix or get a foot massage, and of course somewhere to shop! Chiang Mai is perfect for this, because it is mostly low-rise, there’s relatively little traffic and the beautiful old town is…
